Confirmations: Once we receive your order, you can expect one email immediately that will confirm that an order has been placed. A second email will be sent with a delivery estimate. A third email is sent with tracking info when shipped. Shipping: We use the least expensive ground shipping offered by UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Deliveries: These days signatures are not required. If no one is home at the delivery location, the driver will leave your package(s) somewhere near your front door. If you have any special delivery instructions, we recommend placing a note on your front door on the delivery date with your name, request, and tracking number. Returns: You will need an RGA # (Return Goods Authorization Number. Not all items get returned to our NY location. By requesting an RGA, we can be certain your item is returned to the correct location. Our prices include shipping and there is no addition handling fees to have your item delivered. However, if you return an item... you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping, plus a 15% re-stocking fee to cover the original cost of shipping the item to you.
Purchases being picked up in person: Appointments: We don't advertise our Brentwood, NY address simply because the location is not always manned and we don't want people wasting their time driving to an office with a locked front door. We are generally available most days M-F and can usually accommodate a same day appointment. Leave a message at 631-885-2904 and we'll get back to you. Local Installations: That's usually the first question. At this moment, we are trying to locate a dependable local handyman to do some installations for us. At this point, we're still looking, but we might be able to help you. We're working on it. :) Inventory: If you see something you like, it's best to reconfirm it's in-stock and ready to be picked up. Ask about the item, especially if it's labeled "one-of-a-kind". Returns: Almost nothing we sell from our location cannot be returned for a full refund. The only exception would be if something was custom made specifically for you. Otherwise, all we ask is to have the item returned in new condition. Don't alter it in any way and we should be fine.
